All finished with the camper maintenance. Tires and springs look good. Wheel bearings cleaned and re-packed. Dale Mabry Hitch is a great place. Very knowledgeable folks. The wheel bearings should be re-packed every 9,000 miles or so. That means that they will see the camper right after the trip as well!
Tomorrow I will wash the outside of the camper and get it nice and shiny for the trip.
We are all getting really excited!
Oh, yes. I also had an eye exam and got new glasses today as well.
Leave it to Ray to be sure all is in good order before departure. Just a few more days and counting. Baxter and I will be watching your daily progress. But, a note from one who crossed country with two kids and a huge dog in the 'way back' of a Volkswagen, take your time, don't be in a hurry, plan to stop often, toss out the timetable, forget about any schedule, relax and enjoy the trip, the family time, and the adventure. Baxter and I will be waiting for your daily reports.
